Lo and behold on my news counter I see this story.
All deaths are tragedies and I wish this fate on no one. But I wager you money that more than one person who hears about this will think this is more amusing/ironic than saddening.
Some people can just never obtain enough satisfaction with the bountiful gifts which fortune provides them. They have to have it all, but in the immortal words of Lopez to Tony Montana, "they don't last."
