Sadly, the beautiful and talented Miss London, famous actress and singer of stage and screen both big and small (best known for the role of Nurse Dixie McCall from Emergency!) passed on some years ago, and no longer graces us with her lovely presence.
I first encountered Miss London when I happened across the film Man of the West some time ago on TCM, in which she plays the female lead. They just don't make lady actresses like that anymore, complete with the dignity and grace of true femininity that has been tragically lost to our so-called 'enlightened' era.
See, this is why I can't understand why people are so obsessed with Angelina, Britney, and their ilk. They are, for lack of a better term, stupid spoiled classless whores when compared to the celebrities of the past. We knew better once....
